The annual UF vs. FSU game this past Saturday was arguably the most highly anticipated game of the season. Although the game ended in a 27-2 loss in the Swamp, the day was filled with some good old fashioned rivalry. As a proud member of the Gator Nation, I believe it’s our duty to defend ourselves with various comebacks for every challenge FSU fans throw our way, which is why I have thoroughly searched the web for the top seven comebacks to get those Seminoles to simmer down in the wake of their win this past weekend.

7. Be easy on those FSU fans in denial. It must be hard.

6. It always comes down to the crab legs. Remind FSU fans of that.

5. Most FSU student may not know this, but college is not just about partying – it’s about getting a quality education and being employable. Online Schools Center ranks UF at No. 17 on their college list for impressive job placement rates and career services. But I guess clown college is fun, right Seminoles?

4. Tebow is life. End of story.

3. Enough said.

2. 35 NATIONAL TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS a.k.a. UF FOR THE WIN. And only 19 national championships for FSU.

1. The moment of truth: UF academics and college ranking will always be the top reason UF is superior to FSU. UF had an acceptance rate of 39 percent in 2011, while FSU had an acceptance rate of 53.1 percent. As of this year UF, is ranked Florida’s top university (beating the University of Miami) and No. 47 in the nation. Meanwhile, FSU falls behind UM in third place in the state and No. 96 in the country. UF graduate schools are also ranked higher in comparison to FSU, including the Levin College of Law, Hough Graduate School of Business, the College of Education, Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, the College of Nursing and the College of Medicine. Ranking information can be found on the U.S. News & World Report website.

So I guess we should have a moment of silence for all those who suddenly said FSU was their first choice. #tragic

Moral of the story: Go Gators!
