Style Star: Jessica Park

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UFL chapter.

I found Jessica Park, 20, grabbing a slice of pizza at Leonardo’s last Monday night. I decided I couldn’t leave without racking her brain for style tips, so I asked her for an interview.  Needless to say, she obliged.

Name: Jessica Park

Age: 20
Major: History
Hometown: Orlando, FL
Favorite designers: Coco Chanel, Michael Kors, and J.Crew
Favorite places to shop: “I shop a lot in Paris.  Thrift shopping in Paris and New York, Club Monaco, and Nordstrom.”
Would never be caught wearing: Cheap looking slacks
Favorite trend for the Spring 2012 season: “Silks, like silky blouses. And boots!”
I can’t live without my: “Cardigans, flats and leggings”
Secret style tip: “I love leggings, adding them to anything can make your outfit more sophisticated and chic!”
What Jessica is wearing:  Wool circle skirt- Forever 21; Black opaque leggings- Urban Outfitters; Silky cream blouse- A boutique in Paris; Heels- Bloomingdales
Why we love Jessica’s style: Finding a trendy way to look cute while still staying warm can be a challenge during the winter, but Jessica pulls this outfit together flawlessly.  She puts a modern twist on the classic 1950’s circle skirt, and pairs it with a simple silk blouse, which is a huge trend this season.  Black opaque leggings and Mary Jane heels pull the outfit together effortlessly.
