Have you noticed an infusion of pink around Gainesville? In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, several businesses, as well as the North Florida Regional Medical Center at 6500 W. Newberry Road, have set up pink displays. The dozens of flamingos outside of the medical center remind people to stand up to breast cancer, which is the most common cancer in women in the U.S. and take preventative steps to stay healthy.
