Senior year is really like an end of an era. When it comes to the college experience, you’ve seen it all — the good, the bad and the ugly. If you aren’t a senior, don’t take anyone you know for granted! Their wisdom can help you in more ways than you could ever imagine. And even if their advice isn’t very helpful, it’s very entertaining and gives a glimpse into their University of Florida and Gainesville memories. Kylie*, a senior public relations major, humored me with her answers to my own silly questions.
Her Campus UFL: What’s your go-to Starbucks order for a late-night study session?
Kylie: “Venti ice water with two scoops of matcha.”
HC UFL: Where do you go to eat after a night out, and what do you get?
K: “A slice of cheese pizza and a slice of cheese pizza from Pizza by the Slice for my boyfriend. I always bring him home pizza.” #bestgirlfriend
HC UFL: Best place to go for a wild night? Best place to go for a chill night?
K: “Fats. And then for a chill night, Salty Dog.”
HC UFL: What’s one of your craziest memories?
K: “The blur**freshmen year.”
HC UFL: What’s something you did that you never want your parents to find out about?
K “Probably how many clothes I’ve bought and only wore once.”
HC UFL: What was your favorite class, and why?
“I’ve really liked a lot of my political science classes. Probably my favorite class was Introduction to Political Theory.”
HC UFL: Favorite class at the gym?
“Any spin class.”
HC UFL: What was your favorite and least favorite thing about UF/Gainesville?
“My favorite thing about Gainesville is meeting my boyfriend. And my least favorite thing is the 5 p.m. traffic — actually no, and losing a lot of football games.”
HC UFL: Any regrets or things you wish you did?
“I wouldn’t say it’s a regret, but I wish I had gotten to know more of my professors because I think I could’ve learned more from them.”
Did you start thinking of your own answers while reading? What would your answers be to these questions? If you are or know someone who is a senior, let me know on our Facebook page @HerCampusUFL, and I may just interview you next! And if you didn’t see a question that you think would be awesome to ask, feel free to make suggestions on our Facebook page, too.
