– President Donald Trump compared the impeachment inquiry to a lynching. 

– Lori Loughlin received an additional charge of bribery in the college admissions scandal.

– Massive cracks were found in a pedestrian bridge before it collapsed on a Florida college campus in 2018.

 

Wednesday, October 23: 

– Penn State University suspended one of their fraternities after the death of a 17-year-old.

– An Apple Watch saved the life of a New Jersey hiker. 

 

Thursday, October 24: 

– TikTok could threaten U.S national security and user safety, according to U.S senators.

– An 81-year-old woman was rescued by kayakers after being submerged in a car overnight. 

 

Friday, October 25:

– California Governor Gavin Newson declared a state of emergency for Los Angeles and Sonoma counties due to the wildfires racing through California. 

 

Saturday, October 26:

– Hard Rock opened the first guitar-shaped hotel in Florida.

– Two Southwest Airlines pilots were accused of livestreaming the restroom on a plane with a hidden camera.

– ISIS leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was killed in U.S military raid
