50/50, Sept. 30
Starring: Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen
This movie is based on the friendship between Seth Rogen and Will Reiser, his friend who was diagnosed with spinal cancer at the age of 25. This dramedy, penned by Reiser himself, stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Reiser’s alter ego and Rogen as a version of himself. The movie is a comedy but does not shy away from depictions of chemo, lack of libido and hair loss.

Footloose, Oct. 14
Starring: Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough and Dennis Quaid
This remake of the 1985 classic starring Kevin Bacon adds a modern edge with the dancing while keeping the same storyline. Ren McCormack, a city kid, moves to a small town where dancing is banned. He decides to shake things up when he tries to dance.

The Big Year, Oct. 14
Starring: Jack Black, Steve Martin and Owen Wilson
This movie is a comedy about three friendly rivals who dedicate a year of their lives to spot the greatest number of rare birds in an annual contest. In the movie, Martin and Black, who plays a recent divorcee, team up to beat the past champion, who is played by Wilson.

The Three Musketeers, Oct. 21
Starring: Logan Lerman, Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Christoph Waltz, Orlando Bloom and Milla Jovovich
The young D’Artagnan (Lerman) along with three former legendary but now down on their luck Musketeers must unite and defeat a double agent and her villainous employer from seizing the French throne and engulfing Europe in war.
