A Much-Needed Study Break With Cats

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UFL chapter.

There’s nothing more horrible than having a bad day that just keeps getting worse. You wake up to find that there’s no more hot water, your roommate swiped the last muffin, and the bus drives away without you. At this point, you feel like the whole world is out to get you, and there’s nothing you can do to fix it. But the solution to all of your problems is relatively simple: take a cat break.

With their long whiskers and sandpaper tongues, their mission is to entertain us all.

They often pray before bed for someone to leave the front door open, so they can finally escape.

They do their best to help us with our homework but often just find themselves sleeping on it instead.

Cats often exercise as much as possible to stay in shape after all those cat treats.

But the one thing they always have time for is a little catnap.

Play time is always an essential part of the day, and they’re never kitten around.

It’s never a good idea to interrupt them while playing because they may look like this.

So let them enjoy their life, even if they look slightly weird doing it…

… because at the end of the day, they just want to make you laugh…

… look fresh …

and love you.
