Gainesville’s weather never ceases to amaze me with its bipolar tendencies, and this past week proved to be no exception. After being shocked with chilling 30-degree weather, what did we get? Rain, of course. The result of these weather conditions has been quite the mix of fashion choices around campus. From The North Face jackets to anoraks and beanies to riding boots, most students here at UF somehow seem to have a decent winter wardrobe despite the fact that 10 out of 12 of the months here are steaming hot. While briskly walking home to escape impending rain showers, I saw Jackie cross the Plaza of the Americas with her Starbucks iced coffee in hand, totally rocking her outfit of the day.
