Her Campus UFL’s Graduating Seniors

For the last Campus Celebrity article of the semester, we figured it was only appropriate to feature the real MVPs: the graduating seniors from our team! We’d like to give these gals a special shoutout and thank them for all of their hard work and dedication to Her Campus UFL. Congrats, ladies! Go out there and show the world what you’ve got. HCXO!

Name: Samantha Netkin (Writer)Major: advertisingHer Campus: What are your plans for after graduation?Samantha Netkin: “Move home to New York and start working!”HC: What is your favorite memory of being a part of Her Campus UFL?SN: “My favorite memory of being a part of HC was writing fun articles.”HC: What will you miss most about UF?SN: “Gameday tailgates!”

Name: Kelli Eichorn (Gator Glam Blogger)  Major: telecommunication with a media and society concentrationHer Campus: What are your plans for after graduation?Kelli Eichorn: “I accepted an offer as a Project Coordinator with TransPerfect Translations in New York City!”HC: What is your favorite memory of being a part of Her Campus UFL?KE: “Having friends and family talk about a specific article or topic that I wrote about on the Her Campus site. It was a great feeling to know that girls could actually relate to what I was writing about.”HC: What will you miss most about UF?KE: “Well, everything! But gamedays of course. There really is nothing like UF campus, The Swamp or Midtown on a Gator gameday. It’s like Christmas every Saturday morning.”

Name: Lauren Crawford (Entertainment10 Blogger)Major: telecommunications with a news specialization and sports management concentrationHer Campus: What are your plans for after graduation?Lauren Crawford: “Move to LA or NYC and work in either the entertainment or sports broadcasting field.”HC: What is your favorite memory of being a part of Her Campus UFL?LC: “When I became the Entertainment10 writer. It was something that I wanted for a long time and getting the privilege to write a weekly article on topics I love has been so rewarding.”HC: What will you miss most about UF?LC: “I will miss the relationships I’ve built while being a student here as well as college life in general. I mean, when will I be able to say I have Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays free?”

Name: Francesca Rocca (Instagram Manager)  Major: telecommunication with a media and society concentrationHer Campus: What are your plans for after graduation?Francesca Rocca: “I’m joining the account management team for the advertising agency BBDO in Atlanta this summer.”HC: What is your favorite memory of being a part of Her Campus UFL?FR: “Being able to do it for a full year! I had a lot of fun with the Instagram account this semester. Meeting other members during socials and tabling events was super fun.”HC: What will you miss most about UF?FR: “I will miss the long summer season. But most importantly, my best friends from study abroad and the community I worked with day in and day out that helped me reach my dreams in a fun atmosphere. Having my brother here at UF also made my senior year one of a kind and I’ll miss him next year, but I am excited for him to continue the Gator family tradition.”

Name: Stephanie Spoerl (PR/Events Intern)Major: communication sciences and disordersHer Campus: What are your plans for after graduation?Stephanie Spoerl: “I’m going to graduate school at Gallaudet University to get my masters in speech-language pathology.”HC: What is your favorite memory of being a part of Her Campus UFL?SS: “The Mochi socials! It’s time where we get to just hang out with friends and talk.”HC: What will you miss most about UF?SS: “I’m definitely going to miss the  beautiful campus and great school spirit. I’ll miss all the friends I’ve made here and the awesome organizations I’m a part of.”

Name: Rachael Schaaf (Blogs Editor)Major: english with educational studies minorHer Campus: What are your plans for after graduation?Rachael Schaaf: “Getting my Master’s of Education with UF ProTeach.”HC: What is your favorite memory of being a part of Her Campus UFL?RS: “Working on the team with my brother’s girlfriend and having more of my sorority sisters become involved with our great organization.”HC: What will you miss most about UF?RS: “Nothing because I’ll still be here for one more year!”

Name: Yourisha Wims (Senior Editor)Major: criminologyHer Campus: What are your plans for after graduation?Yourisha Wims: “I will start working with Macy’s in July, thanks to Career Showcase!”HC: What is your favorite memory of being a part of Her Campus UFL?YW: “Wow, this has to be when I received the email from Victoria saying that I actually got the position of Senior Editor. It was such a big deal to me because who would’ve thought a criminology major would have such an important role in Her Campus. I’ve loved every second of it.”HC: What will you miss most about UF?YW: “Honestly, I’ll miss reading all of the amazing articles that all of the writers have produced. They have such wonderful, creative and wise minds and get better as each week passes. It’s been an honor to view all of their great work.”

Name: Amanda Jackson (Feautures Writer)Major: telecommunication with a news concentrationHer Campus: What are your plans for after graduation?Amanda Jackson: “I’m looking to get a job in journalism, preferably in video game reporting.”HC: What is your favorite memory of being a part of Her Campus UFL?AJ: “My favorite part of HC would be getting to look at GIFs of hot actors every week.”HC: What will you miss most about UF?AJ: “I’m going to miss all the great friends I’ve made here!”

Name: Anagabriela Medina (Gator Glam Blogger)Major: journalismHer Campus: What are your plans for after graduation?Anagabriela Medina: “Hopefully pursue a career in magazine or online journalism and see what else there is outside of Florida. I love my sunshine state, but I’m also ready for a change of scenery.”HC: What is your favorite memory of being a part of Her Campus UFL?AM: “Finding out we reached PINK chapter level! It was amazing to watch the growth of our chapter during my two years as a blogger for HC UFL.”HC: What will you miss most about UF?AM: “How the students here truly embody the saying ‘In all kinds of weather, we’ll all stick together!’”
