As Mariah Carey would say: “It’s time!” The time for gifts, twinkling lights and eggnog is almost here. But before you find yourself home celebrating Christmas, you have to lift your spirits up, especially after finals.

Here, you will find seven episodes to cheer you up and put you into the Christmas mood, or that will entertain you:

Friends, season 7 episode 10, “The One with The Holiday Armadillo”

Santa, an armadillo and even superman… if Christmas couldn’t get more random.

In this episode, Ross attempts to teach his son about Hanukkah by dressing up as Santa. But with Christmas around the block, he cannot find a Santa costume. So in Ross fashion, he decides for something unconventional: an armadillo.

The episode has everything: laughs, maybe tears and Christmas. So why wouldn’t you want to spend the time watching our favorite friends and remembering those who aren’t here anymore?

Gossip Girl, season 1 episode 11, “Roman Holiday”

More than a decade after its ending, Gossip Girl continues to make its way into our lives. This time is a holiday gift wrapped the Gossip Girl way.

In this episode, the Christmas spirit lingers around New York City without the dose of drama being absent. With the boys away in Monaco, Blair deals with his father’s new boyfriend and her personal not-so-little secret: Chuck. Meanwhile, Serena attempts to surprise Dan with a grand Christmas gift.

This holiday is the perfect excuse to rewatch Gossip Girl either for the drama or the fashion inspiration. And like Gossip Girl said, “Have a holly jolly Christmas.”

The O.C., season 1 episode 13, “The Best Chrismukkah Ever”

Coming together as a family is what Christmas is all about; well, besides sharing. So join the Cohen family in their new tradition of Chrismukkah: a combination of Christmas and Hanukkah. Besides, the episode still has the O.C. ‘s touch. Seth is in-between Anna and Summer, and Ryan confronts its present and tries to forget about the past. Meanwhile, Marissa shows us that holidays can also become a little dark.

Gilmore Girls, season episode 7 episode 11, “Santa’s Secret Stuff”

There are a lot of glorious Gilmore Girls episodes drenched in holiday spirit, but this one shows you that it’s never either too late or too early for Christmas. As Rory comes back from London, Lorelai attempts to recreate Christmas for her. But their traditions might be questioned by their new house additions.

This episode has the festive spirit and the same nostalgic feeling unique to Gilmore Girls. But most importantly, it has Lorelai’s beautiful snow.
