Getting Through Finals Week with the #HCSurvivalKits

Finals week — the bane of every college student’s existence — is in full swing at UF. That means endless lines at Dunkin’ Donuts Happy Hour, power naps in the booths at Library West and countless Smokin’Notes Facebook statuses. Looking back on the high school days, I’ve realized we had it so easy. Even though we thought finals were so hard back then, most of our teachers probably gave us detailed study guides and maybe even a few answers to exam questions. Now, our teachers show no mercy in making us memorize 16 chapters worth of material for one 150-question exam that either makes or breaks our final grade.

With so much pressure to succeed, finals week is undoubtedly a stressful time in which we’re more prone to get hungry, sick and tired. Luckily, Her Campus Nationals totally hooked us up with yet another amazing Survival Kit to get us through the week. With tons of amazing goodies from our sponsors, such as Chipotle, Kettle Brand and Cosabella, we’ve been able to make it through the week in one piece. Keep reading to learn about these awesome products!

Kettle Brand Hey Neighbor KitI’m a big advocate of study snacks, and nothing quite quenches my midnight munchies like chips and popcorn. Kettle Brand provided us with salt and pepper chips as well as maple bacon popcorn in an adorable and useful tote bag. Do you like putting syrup on your bacon when you eat breakfast? If so, then this popcorn is sure to rock your world.

Cold-EEZE QuickMeltsFinals week is tough enough as it is, but it’s 10 times worse when you’re fighting a cold at the same time. These cold remedy products shorten the duration of your cold and help to relieve common symptoms like sore throat, cough and congestion. They melt in your mouth and come in yummy flavors like natural honey lemon.

LUNA Chocolate Peppermint BarsNothing gets you in the holiday mood like the scrumptious mix of chocolate and peppermint. High in calcium and with 8 grams of protein in each bar, these bars are the perfect study snack to throw in your backpack for a long day at the library. Plus, they’re made with no artificial ingredients and are 70% organic, so you don’t have to feel guilty after indulging in this chocolaty treat.

TRESemmé Travel-Sized Hairspray and Keratin Smooth SamplesIf you’re an on-the-go kind of gal with a flyaway hair problem, TRESemmé has your back with its travel-sized hairspray. Perfectly sized for your backpack if you need to spruce up your hair halfway through the day or for your carryon bag if you’re traveling this holiday season, this hairspray keeps those untamed strands in their place. And the keratin smooth treatment is sure to keep your hair feeling sleek all Winter Break.

Aritzia Gift CardsNever heard of Aritzia? Then I suggest you take a study break for some much needed retail therapy to browse its expansive collection of trendy clothes and accessories. With a stunning assortment of sweaters, leggings, dresses and more, Aritzia has clothing options for an array of different styles and tastes.

Chipotle BOGO CardsThis might quite possibly be my favorite part of the #HCSurvivalKits thus far. When I’m hunkered down in a booth at the library with a study pal, nothing makes us happier than taking a study break to grab a delicious burrito bowl from Chipotle. Wait — scratch that; there is one thing that makes us happier, and that’s buy-one-get-one-free burrito bowls from Chipotle. If you don’t mind waiting in a 20-minute line, Chipotle is the ideal finals week lunch or dinner.

The Timeline Project BookletsAre you sick of staring at your notes and unsuccessfully trying to memorize 150 vocabulary words? Then take a study break with The Timeline Project! This online tool allows you to define your life goals and prioritize so they can actually be accomplished. With things like summer internships and jobs in the near future, it’s a good idea to get your goals organized over Winter Break.

BaubleBar Bracelet and Gift CardOnline jewelry shopping is another great excuse for a study break. Whether you’re buying a bracelet for your BFF, a necklace for your mom or a little something for yourself for the holidays, BaubleBar has hundreds of chic options to suit your fancy.

chain & charcoal Gift CardAnother awesome jewelry website, chain & charcoal offers the College Catwalk Collection for collegiettes on a budget. Loaded with all the statement necklaces, rings and bracelets your little heart could ever desire, this online store is the perfect way to change things up from the usual stores you shop at.

Cosabella UnderwearEvery collegiette needs a good pair of underwear! With the mantra “Freedom of Color,” Cosabella believes a woman’s lingerie should reflect her current mood. By selling tons of thongs and underwear in a variety of colors and styles, Cosabella can certainly satisfy all of your undergarment needs and desires.

Pink CamelBak Water BottleStaying hydrated during high-stress periods of time is vital, so why not do so in style? CamelBak’s water bottles are durable and spill-proof, and they come in just about every color imaginable. Whether you choose to fill it with water or coffee is up to you, but make sure to drink at least two water bottles every day to stay hydrated and healthy!
