Mark your calendars for April 4, Collegiettes! Why? Because it’s the best day of the year, of course; the Her Campus Tour makes its stop at the University of Florida. Here are a few reasons why you need to be there.
Snag some free stuff
Treat yo-self… to freebies! Part of the tour involves sponsors from all over coming to UF and showing what they’ve got. Want makeup? L’Oreal and essence cosmetics will be there. Want to revive the classic Juicy tracksuit? Check it off the list because they’ll be there in all of their 2000s glory. Other brands featured include Aeropostale, Student City and more. Do it for the freebies, ladies and gents.
Get to meet the Her Campus staff
HerCampus is an amazing way to get involved at UF for us college women. As you frolic through the stands with your free swag bags, you also get the opportunity to meet some amazing girls. The editorial team is made up of some of the most dedicated women I’ve ever seen, writing articles every week. The social media team is always coming up with great ideas to bring UF women together. The PR ladies are always promoting Her Campus and making events like the tour better than ever. Apply to join the team next semester, and get pumped.
Try something new and support your school
It’s always great to be a Florida Gator, but the breadth of opportunities can be overwhelming so much that sometimes it can be hard to pick just one. If you’re wandering around campus April 4 from 11 a.m. 2 p.m. with nothing to do, HerCampus will welcome you with open arms at the Reitz Union. Gators are always looking for new things to do, and supporting UF’s chapter of the number one Online Women’s Magazine in the NATION (yep) is definitely a productive use of your time. The tour will commence on April 4 outside of the Reitz Union from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Go Gators and go Her Campus UFL!
