Halloween is just around the corner! If you’re thinking of dressing up as a cat for the third year in a row, then it’s time to reevaluate. As a college gal on a budget, creativity is a must. Struggling to come up with an idea? My friends, let me introduce you to the wonderful world of YouTube. If you’re not familiar with the makeup community that exists in the YouTube-sphere, I am here to help! These are just some of my favorite creative girls that can help you come up with an amazing costume for the spooky celebrations.

1. Michelle Phan
From a geisha to a vampire to even the Black Swan, the No. 1 makeup guru on YouTube has you covered. Her easy-to-follow tutorials and seemingly effortless makeup looks will leave you wanting more. Her most recent Halloween tutorial involves transforming your face into Angelina Jolie!

If you are looking for a complete costume, not just makeup, check out MacBarbie! She features DIY costumes for those of us on a budget. One of her most recent videos shows how to make your own Dorothy-inspired dress from the Wizard of Oz. Feeling quirkier?
