This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UFL chapter.

Use the cold weather as an excuse to throw a girls’ spa night to celebrate the holidays! Whip up some spiked eggnog and try some of these homemade spa treatments with your favorite girls.

For skin that is irresistibly soft, make this delicious mask and relax:

Yogurt, Oatmeal, and Honey Mask

Ingredients
¼ cup of plain yogurt
½ cup of oatmeal
2 tablespoons of honey

Directions

  1. Finely grind oatmeal in blender, and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the yogurt with the honey.
  3. Add oatmeal, and mix together until it has a paste consistency.
  4. Smooth over face. Leave for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

If finals are stealing your precious sleep time, try these eye-brightening ideas:

  • Make chamomile tea, and instead of throwing away the bags, gently squeeze the tea and let them cool. Place slightly damp bags over your eyes, and let go!
  • To sooth the skin around your eyes, cut a few cucumber slices and place them on your eyes for 15 minutes.

For dry winter skin, the best thing to do is to exfoliate and moisturize! Here is a homemade scrub that does both:

Sugar and Olive Oil scrub

Ingredients:
3 TBLS of extra virgin olive oil
2 TBLS of honey
½ cup of sugar

Directions:

  • Mix all of the ingredients together!

This scrub works great in your face, body, and even feet for an amazing pedicure!
