Spring Break is rapidly approaching (only 11 days away from the time this is being written – but who’s counting?). The much-anticipated hiatus is usually associated with trips to sandy, sunny beaches, crowded hotel pools and late nights with your friends. With the rise in aesthetics being depicted on social media, you might want your Spring Break to look non-traditional. Don’t worry, though, if you are a beach girl at heart; this article has you covered, too! Whether you and your friends are cottagecore girls, granola girls, beach babes or light academia queens, your perfect trip awaits you.

If the TikTok For You Page is filled with cottagecore content, you and three of your friends should consider booking this quaint farm Airbnb in Vero Beach, Florida. The rental itself is filled with charming wooden furniture, cozy mismatched throw pillows and classic board games. However, it’s the location of the Airbnb that sets this Spring Break lodge apart. Live your cottagecore dreams while being surrounded by beautiful green pastures that house horses, cows, donkeys and goats. In your free time, you can go horseback riding on the property or brew a cup of tea while you watch the sunset on the farmland.

Granola girl besties should book this rental immediately! You and one other guest can stay in the Pileated Place, a quaint A-frame cabin in Alachua County (perfect for Gators who want a change of scenery but have to stay close by). This cabin overlooks a pond that could pass for a Claude Monet painting. The fire pit will be perfect for roasting s’mores and sipping hot chocolate with your Spring Break bestie. The cabin has two cots and appears to have consistent equestrian visitors. When y’all aren’t at the rental, you can visit Alachua County’s trailheads and nature preserves.

Panama City, Florida, is also home to an A-frame cabin, but this rental has a beach babe twist! You and eight friends will immediately be greeted by a cheerful yellow exterior. The cabin’s light interior with subtle beach decor will put you in official Spring Break mode. One of the rental’s best features is its adorable balcony that overlooks the fire pit, perfect for sipping iced coffees after the beach. Pair your trip with bike rides to the nearby beach, going shopping at the Insta-worthy Pier Park and tanning by the ocean (with sunscreen of course!).

Any light academia girls looking for a quick trip to New York? This two-person cabin nestled in the woods of New York is a dream for any girl who once dreamed of being Hermione Granger (ahem, me!). The Airbnb is appropriately called “The Library at Camp Arden,” for the walls of the living area and sitting room are literally covered in books. The stained glass windows and vintage portraits will make your light academia Pinterest board come to life. When you don’t have your nose in the cabin’s hundreds of books, you can go kayaking on the property or go for walks around the scenic pathways.

No matter where you go on your Spring Break trip, make sure you close your laptop, turn off your notifications and spend some unplugged time away with your friends. Try a new restaurant, coffee shop or activity that you wouldn’t normally try. When you return to campus, you can come back mentally refreshed, physically rested and academically re-energized!
