Four Killer Coffeehouses to Get Your Study On

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UFL chapter.

With Spring semester now in full-swing, it’s always nice to have a cup of coffee by your side to take on even the toughest of macroeconomics quizzes. No matter how stressful classes get, you can always brighten up your learning experience with a change of scenery (and maybe a cappuccino or two). After doing some exploring around Gainesville, I’ve put together the Ultimate Gainesville Coffee Shop Bucket List. Grab your mug, and go explore!

1. Pascal’s Coffeehouse

Located within walking distance of University of Florida Campus, Pascal’s Coffeehouse is a beautiful indoor and outdoor café with a great selection of coffee and tea to choose from.

My favorite order: 12oz Cuban coffee with milk, and a Trip to Sweden pastry#treatyourself

2. Cymplify

This location is surrounded by beautiful greenery and natural light with a stunning wrap-around porch that captures the Gainesville breeze just right. Inside, they have a ton of comfy bean bag chairs for you to lounge in while you sip your choice of java.

My favorite order:  Mint Chocolate Iced Coffee

3. Maude’s Classic Café

Located in the heart of downtown Gainesville, Maude’s is a great place to go to enjoy beautiful art, board games and effortless hipster vibes.

My favorite order: Medium Iced Dirty Chai

4. Curia on the Drag

Curia is a beautifully eclectic location filled with alternating art exhibits and a wide selection of coffee and teas. To accompany the very natural vibe of this café, I love to indulge in a nutritious order of “Nature’s Gatorade”, which is an iced Turmeric Ginger tea.

My favorite order: That Iced Tumeric Ginger tea, of course

I hope this semester is already off to a great start for you, and these recommendations help kickstart both your energy and your motivation to study!
