As the seasons change, and we get deeper into fall, everyone gets excited about the cozier weather, the warmer outfits they get to pull out of the depths of their closets and, of course, the latest holiday inspired drinks. One of my favorite parts of fall is the new makeup releases. The closer we get to the holiday season, the more companies and the more designers release new makeup trends. From trendy favorite Jeffree Star to glamorous classics like Chanel, there will be a beauty product in this article for everyone. Whether these are new lipsticks, color palettes or huge box sets, there is something every woman will love. You’ll want to head to Sephora, Ulta or online to purchase these new beauty favorites for yourself!
Jeffree Star
I was scrolling through Instagram last week when I stumbled upon Jeffree Star’s upcoming lip line: Lip Ammunition. It’s gorgeous. The line of lipsticks range from everyday nudes that you can wear to class to dark blues perfect for a daring look. Each lipstick is decorated in a bright pink case that is made to look like a bullet. His colors are trendy and daring with color names that stay true to that. Past colors of liquid lipsticks have been titled “Unicorn Blood,” “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and “Queen Supreme.” They also don’t dry your lips and feel very moisturizing. The line is being released on September 30th and will be available for immediate purchase on his website. The line is going to sell out fast, so you’ll definitely want to order your new signature color on September 30th. Most of his liquid lipsticks and other makeup items are almost all completely sold out, but if you are interested in purchasing one before you try one of the new shades the end of this month, colors such as “Dirty Money,” “Prom Night” and “I’m Nude” are still available for purchase. His line is fabulous and has exclusive colors you won’t find anywhere else. I’m obsessed with the line, and you should be, too.
Urban Decay
The latest Urban Decay Palette I’m obsessed with is the Urban Decay Moondust Palette. This latest release is trending with the space-themed fashion I’ve seen all over the catwalks and lookbooks of the trendiest designers and stores this season. The Moondust Palette consists of sparkly bright colors from “lightyear” to “galaxy” to “magnetic.” These shades of bright green, teal and purple are perfect for themed parties or to glam up a simple look. If you’re more into neutral colors, “lithium,” which is a bronze toned color, and “granite,” which is a silver color, would be perfect for you. The collection also includes bright blues and pinks. If you aren’t interested in all of these colors, you can purchase individual moondust eyeshadow palettes of a larger single color for half the price. The Smashbox Matte Exposure Pallette includes more neutral colors perfect for everyday wear such as nudes, browns, greys and purples. Don’t let these non-sparkly colors fool you, though! They’re still extremely trendy and have fun names like “Sumatra,” “Drizzle” and “Blackout.” The Smashbox palette also comes with a double-headed makeup brush wonderful for applying perfect eyeshadow. Every Chanel fan knows that Chanel’s makeup game is always on point. Chanel’s latest collection is called “Le Rouge Collection.”If you know French, then you know that rouge is, of course, red. The latest collection is all about the power of red, whether it is in relation to lips, nails, eyeliner or eyeshadow. My favorite going out lip color is a bright red because it is crisp, clean, shows confidence and looks amazing on. The Le Rouge Collection lipsticks range from a pale red to a dark brownish red to a bright rose-colored red. This is a collection worth splurging for in it’s classic timelessness. So, work those few extra hours, and splurge away.
