Fall 2015 Must-See Movies

With the endless activities we’re busy with during the fall, sometimes it is difficult to keep up with what movies are coming to theaters. Fall is a time when great movies are being released right around the holidays. Whether you are looking to go to the movies with your family, friends or boyfriend, check out my list of must-see fall movies.

1. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2Release date: November 4The fourth and final installment of the Hunger Games saga is finally upon us. This movie is sure to be a record breaker with millions of people anticipating to attend it. What will happen next to Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark? Be sure to see this can’t-miss movie!

2. The OutskirtsRelease date: November 6No matter how old you get, everyone loves to watch movies about high school. Some of the best classic movies take place in high schools, like Grease and Pretty in Pink. The Outskirts, starring Victoria Justice, is about two high school nerds who are planning their revenge on the “popular crowd” after falling victim to a humiliating prank. This movie will definitely be hilarious and bring on the high school nostalgia.

3. SpectreRelease date: November 6Another James Bond movie? Yes, please! In this episode of the James Bond film series, a mysterious message brings Mr. Bond to Mexico and Italy, where he meets the beautiful widow of a famous criminal (possible romance alert!). Throughout Bond’s adventure, he realizes that there is a connection between himself and his enemy. This action movie is sure to be filled with twists and turns as well as many surprises.

4. By The SeaRelease date: November 13This movie starring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is sure to excite with its romance and drama. In the film, set in the 1970s, Jolie and Pitt’s characters are a couple that’s having trouble with their marriage. They go to a hotel by the sea in a little French village and must face their past troubles as well as make new connections with different people. This drama is sure to excite with its incredible cast.  

5. The Night BeforeRelease date: November 25This is sure to be an incredible and hilarious comedy with Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie as the leading members of the cast. In the movie, three friends enjoy the last year of their Christmas tradition of always being together for the holiday by celebrating each and every Christmas custom, as well as traveling around NYC looking for the best party. This movie is sure to keep you laughing, as it comes from the creators of The Interview and Neighbors.  

No matter what your movie taste is, I’m sure one of these movies will be an incredible break from the extremely hectic fall semester. Grab your friends, eat some popcorn, sit back, relax and enjoy the movie.
