This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UFL chapter.

I’m back with your Entertainment10! Last week, Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week ended, a star was hospitalized, and one of the most controversial couples is back together. Here are the top 10 most recent pop culture events you need to know about:

1. Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week came to a close. NYFW spring/summer 2014 has ended but not without some memorable moments. Miley Cyrus debuted her funky jewelry in collaboration with designer Jeremy Scott during his spring 2015 presentation. The week also featured the annual Fashion Rocks, which had its own OMG moments. Justin Bieber stripped on stage, and the show had some booty-filled performances by Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez. The week, which ended on September 11th, was capped off with shows by J. Mendel, Dorin Negrau, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Art Hearts Fashion and Marc Jacobs. Nevertheless, Kendall Jenner stole the show when she stunned seasoned runways by walking in some of the biggest shows of NYFW including Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger and Marc Jacobs.

2. A “spare to the heir.” The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their second child. Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed their son, Prince George, in 2013, and he is expected to eventually be king. The couple’s unborn child will be fourth in line to the throne after its grandfather Prince Charles, father Prince William and brother Prince George.

3. Khloe Kardashian and French Montana call it quits. The split came after Montana’s statements about taking advantage of the Kardashian fan base. “I want to capitalize on it,” Montana said. “I’ll get a fan base from everywhere. I just hope I’ll be able to connect with everything that’s going on.” The couple dated for about eight months and never publicly commented on the issue. However, Kardashian did Tweet a cryptic message following Montana’s statement. “It’s amusing to me that y’all think I don’t see it. I was the first one to see it. I just don’t care,” she wrote. There is no word on whether the split was a mutual decision. Kardashian has since been seen hitting the gym with trainer Gunnar Peterson, seemingly getting in shape for the single life.

4. Ariana Grande is accused of being a diva. While the star continues to top the charts, she can’t seem to escape rumors surrounding her alleged diva behavior. The singer addressed accusations on the Mike E & Emma radio show by saying, “It was just a photographer who got mad at me because I left to change my outfit mid-photoshoot because I didn’t like my top. I was like, ‘Oh I’ll be right back!’ and I came back, and he had left, and I was like ‘Oh s**t.’” She continued, “He’s now said all these ridiculous untrue things about me, and I’m just like, you know what, that’s not real; that’s nonsense. My fans know who I am, my family knows who I am, my friends know who I am, and that’s all that matters.” Grande’s manager, Scooter Braun, then went to her defense online by Tweeting “@ArianaGrande is kind, caring, and more than anything she is a great human being. Some people make up rumors for a living…”

5. Kanye West is hospitalized in Australia. After suffering an intense migraine, the rapper was rushed to a Melbourne hospital. However, he was released in time for his show at Rod Laver Arena. West will continue his Yeezus tour with three more shows in Sydney and Brisbane, accompanied by his wife, Kim Kardashian West, and daughter, North. UPDATE: Have you heard about Yeezus’ latest behavior?

6. Keke Palmer becomes the first African-American Cinderella on Broadway.  After becoming the youngest talk show host ever earlier this year, Palmer solidified her spot in history on Sept. 9 in her Broadway debut. The star became overwhelmed with emotions, bursting into tears following the premiere production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Prior to the show’s opening, Palmer shared the following on Instagram: “…There’s NOTHING you can not do. Nothing is easy, it will be difficult. But understand you are not alone, we are all together. Thankful to all of those that made it to the show tonight and I love all of those that were praying for me where they were.”

7. Ellen Pompeo doesn’t see herself acting after Grey’s Anatomy. At BuzzFeed Brews with Facebook Live, the Grey’s Anatomy star made the bold statement regarding the end of her acting career. “I definitely don’t have a strong desire to act after Grey’s,” Pompeo said. She continued, “I feel myself transitioning. I don’t find acting terribly empowering. For the place I am in my life … I don’t necessarily want to work for other people.” The actress went on to explain how she would like to challenge herself and become successful in something other than acting. “I feel like I’m very successful at acting, at my definition of success. Some other people want films or Oscars or whatever, and that’s their journey. For my journey, I kind of feel like I did the absolute top of what I could do with television, and I would like to try a new sport and see if I’m any good at something else,” Pompeo said.

8. Shia LaBeouf pleads guilty to disorderly conduct. The Transformers star pled guilty in a New York courtroom after his disturbance at a Broadway show in June. The actor has been receiving treatment for an alcohol problem since the arrest. LaBeouf will have to continue this treatment for another three months and not get arrested for six to be allowed to withdraw his guilty plea and have the case dismissed.

9. Kim Kardashian West finally takes on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but in Kim K. fashion of course. Kardashian West made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she discussed expanding her family. However, before she left, she took the now world-famous ALS Ice Bucket Challenge while taking a few rounds of selfies to capture the moment. When it was all over, the reality star admitted, “I got a good [selfie].” She also revealed on the show that she plans on having more children with her husband.

10. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are officially back on! In a deposition on Sept. 11, in regards to a lawsuit brought about by Miami paparazzo Jeffery Binion, Bieber was asked by Binion’s lawyer, “As of today, what is your relationship with Selena Gomez?” Bieber’s reply was, “We’re dating!” In order to leave no confusion, the lawyer then asked, “You mean, you’re boyfriend-girlfriend?” and Justin responded, “We are!” So that means Jelena is officially back on!
