Style is unique for each individual. Some prefer to switch up their look every day of the week, and some like to fall back on their tried-and-true wardrobe essentials. Nicole Graney falls into the latter of the two. Building her outfits from key pieces in her wardrobe, Nicole has perfected her personal style. Her Campus: What are you wearing and where is it from?
Nicole Graney: “I’m wearing a grey cardigan from Abercrombie & Fitch. My jeans are also from there. I have on a long-sleeved shirt from Lucky Brand, and my earrings are from there, too. My socks are from J.Crew. The boots are Steve Madden.”
HC: What is your main fashion staple?
NG: “I live in my boots! They’re so comfortable and easy to throw on. The majority of the time you will find me wearing some type of boot. I think I have around five different pairs. My favorites are the ones with a zipper so you don’t have to lace them each time! I also love how you can switch up their look a little bit by matching patterned socks with them.”
HC: How would you describe your personal style?
NG: “I don’t really think of myself as a terribly fashionable person. I like to wear what I find comfortable, so I’m mostly in boots, jeans and a top depending on the weather. I take the cozy route way more than the stylish one.”
HC: What is your favorite thing you’re wearing right now?
NG: “Besides my boots, I love this necklace. The Z is for my dog Zima that we had to put down. I love that I get to carry a little piece of her around with me. I rarely take it off.”
