It’s the most wonderful time of the year! We can finally break out the holiday decorations and plan out our holiday shopping strategy. Whether you’re creating your own wish list or trying to figure out the perfect gift for friends and family, beauty products can be the ideal present.

Not sure what kind of concealer your best friend likes? Buying a gift for a distant cousin? Or maybe you just want to get the most “bang for your buck?” Luckily, it seems as if there’s a gift set to meet everyone’s needs when it comes to style and price. From eye shadow pallets to nail color combinations, you can find tons of beauty gifts from stores like Target or Ulta. Here are the five basic types of beauty sets you’ll find, so you can narrow down the present you plan on giving!

1. Eye shadow pallet: Who doesn’t need more eye shadow options these days? If you have that friend who has perfected the smoky eye or loves to try new crazy colors, then an eye shadow pallet or gift set is perfect! You can get name brand at most department stores or avoid breaking the bank by checking out the selection at Target or Walgreens.

2. Fragrance set: I’d like to believe that a perfume gift set is the go-to gift for someone whom you may not be as close with. A fragrance set is perfect because it comes with perfume and lotion, and you can never have too much of that. This gift can also range dramatically in price, and an added bonus: this present is perfect for guys, too!

3. Nail color combination: Nail polish sets are the perfect gift if you’re exchanging small presents with friends or have a budget for a holiday party. With so many different nail patterns popular right now, you can’t go wrong with a variety gift set. You could even spice up your present with an at-home manicure kit or a nail salon gift card!

4. Body care set: Whether it’s a relaxing bubble bath or an exfoliating facial scrub, sometimes face and body wash sets are the perfect gift for unwinding after a hectic holiday season. Like the fragrance set, this gift can be given to anyone and still be appreciated all the same!

5. Makeup kit: Still not sure what to choose after reading the options above? No worries, there are makeup kits that have a little bit of everything in one! Many sets go on sale around the holiday season, and they usually offer a makeup bag holding concealer, mascara, eyeliner, and lip gloss. You can find these at stores like Sephora or Ulta.

Happy holidays and shopping, collegiettes
