Pink dress after pink dress graced this year’s Oscars red carpet. It honestly looked like the inside of Sharpay’s closet. Ranging in all pattern shades, dozens of actresses (and actors) showed off their outfit for the night, turning the infamous red carpet into a sea of pink.

Here are some bright, eccentric looks from the Oscars red carpet that may inspire your next spring ensemble.

1. Kacey Musgraves

Country singer Kacey Musgraves’ light pink gown made her look like a fairy from an enchanted universe. Endless layers of tulle of the gown designed by Italian fashion designer, Giambattista Valli, attracted everyone’s eyes. A sparkly silver belt made a statement, completing the look. The elements of this bubblegum princess dress can be used to style an outfit with this layered tulle skirt. The length of the pink skirt makes it casual yet very chic. A simple white crop top like this one from Revolve completes the outfit and doesn’t take away from the eccentricity of the fluffy pink perfection. And although we didn’t get a glance at Musgraves’ shoes, these Gipsybootie Alençon Lace booties are a perfect pair to top off the outfit inspired by her gown.

2. Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet

If you thought that only the ladies were down with the pink trend then you’re in for a surprise with this couple’s look. The Aquaman actor took over the red carpet in an all-pink velvet suit. The tux included black accents on the sides of his pants and on his blazer’s lapel. Late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld designed the tux especially for Momoa. To honor his fashion at such a momentous event, Momoa and Bonet donned looks from the designer’s last Fendi couture collection. The mute pink dress Bonet wore displayed sequins and floral embellishments, making her dress look absolutely stunning. These coordinated outfits can inspire an awfully large number of outfits. Style these Isabel Marant Étoile pink velvet trousers with this embellished black top. Top off this look with black pointed-toe booties similar to the ones Bonet wore. The glossy leather also coordinates with the dress shoes Momoa sported.

3. Gemma Chan

Gemma Chan’s dramatic hot pink dress deserves just as much attention as her award-winning movie, Crazy Rich Asians. This deep pink dress looked like something only Elle Woods could pull off, but Gemma Chan rocked this gown as she worked her way down the red carpet. The Valentino Haute Couture taffeta gown draped far behind the actress as she posed for the cameras. The frills seen on the entirety of the dress gives the same effect as the petals of a tulip, making Chan look absolutely ethereal. The pockets on this fuchsia dress complete the dream gown. This hot pink Ella Johnson dress makes for a simple, yet elegant frilled dress perfect for any night out. Match it with these Christian Louboutin So Kate Mosaic boots. Its colorful shimmery mosaic panels contrast with the fuchsia color of the dress. Chan’s silver accessories added just the right amount of sparkle. Bedazzle the outfit with these Ben-Amun embellished chandelier earrings and Dannijo Bella bracelet.

4. Marie Kondo

Marie Kondo’s first ever Oscars appearance brought just as much sparkle as her dress. The rising author came out with a beautiful baby pink lace gown. Jenny Packham designed its V-neck with short sleeves. Pink-sequined flowers added to the beauty of the gown’s delicate lace. A small train draped as the de-cluttering expert made her debut walk down the red carpet. A similar flower-embellished dress can be worn for a more casual occasion. This mid-length sleeveless dress has the same neckline of Kondo’s gown, and the embellishments in both dresses complete the overall look. Add a bit more sparkle to the dress with these Lindsay Sandal Jeffrey Campbell block heels. The crystals on the sandal-styled heels give a shine and can be worn with other accessories like the Cristabelle crystal collar necklace and the Givenchy crystal bangle, taking the outfit to a heightened level of elegance.

Pink dominated this year’s Oscars red carpet and reigned supreme in all of its magnificent forms. This spring, add some major pink to your outfit with these celebrity-inspired looks.
