The fourth week of every quarter is the infamous Vendor Fair on Library Walk! If you’ve been on the crowded Library Walk at all this week, you’ve probably seen merchants setting up tents trying to sell their products to us students. There have also been student organizations selling food, desserts, and drinks to raise money for their events! I personally love the Vendor Fair because it’s a super convenient and cheap way to shop. I like to say that UCSD is bringing the mall to us so we don’t have to take the time to go off campus during the busy midterm season. Some of my favorite tents are the sweet cakes tent where they’re always handing out free samples, the candle tent because it smells amazing when I walk by on my way to class, and many of the tents with warehouse sales where they’re trying to get rid of all their extra merchandise so it’s super affordable! I also, of course, love supporting other students’ fundraising efforts, and in the past have bought Thai tea and baked goods! Library Walk is certainly the place to be during Week 4, especially if you need a study break!
