Why did you decide to join Her Campus?
I decided to join Her Campus because I have always gravitated towards writing as a source of comfort throughout my life. Previously, I have only written things for myself but I want to start to share my writing with others. I am very excited to work alongside other passionate and hardworking women!
Who is your favorite artist and what is your favorite song?
I have a hard time deciding who my favorite artist is but someone that I always gravitate towards is SZA. My favorite song is definitely Supermodel. I have so many memories of singing my heart out in the car with my friends to this song.
What is your dream job and why?
My absolute dream would be to become a Supreme Court Justice or to run for Senate. I have always been very interested and involved in politics, even from a young age. I hope to use my privilege to fight for justice for all.
How has the pandemic changed you in a good way?
I think the main thing that the pandemic has taught me is to not wish away time. Before, I had the tendency to always long for the next weekend. Now, I try to appreciate every day. For me, this means taking breaks to take care of myself and to unwind on a daily basis.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by everyday life. I truly believe that every person has a story to tell that will teach you something. I love hearing about ordinary people’s perspectives. I also find inspiration from nature and the universal solitude and peace it brings.
