What activities are you currently involved in on campus? When it comes to extracurricular activities, A.S. keeps me pretty busy. I used to be part of Thurgood Marshall College Student Council (TMCSC), but when I was appointed as AVP of Student Organizations, I became an exclusive A.S. member.
What made you decide to be a part of A.S.? I was in student government in high school, and I wanted to continue doing so in college. I hope to make an impact at UCSD, and I feel that being involved in A.S. and College Councils is one way to do it. Beginning Freshman year, I was a staff member within the A.S. Finance Office while I held positions in TMCSC. I have always enjoyed the fiscal planning part of entity management, and that’s why I joined the finance office.
Favorite thing about UCSD? That’s a tough question. I think my favorite part is the people here at UCSD. You can meet so many great individuals that become lifelong friends. I think part of my answer comes from the fact that I love Marshall College and especially my friends from Marshall. Shout out to Marshall!
What is your dream job? My dream job would be being the CEO or CFO of a Fortunate 500 company.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I hope to be working for a large company in five years. My ideal plan is to go straight into graduate school after college so I can get school out of the way before I enter the job market.
Words to live by? When it comes to finances, my words to live by are that “Money never sleeps.” For everything else I’d say it’s “go big or go home.”
