HC UCSD’s Valentine’s Day Outfits: Part 1!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCSD chapter.

Don’t have a significant other this Valentine’s? No worries! You can still look cute whether you’re going out to eat, work, or clubbing, so make plans with the ladies and don’t force yourself to stay at home. If you’re interested in some inspiration for various outfits, keep reading to find out what I would wear for these different occasions.

Outfit 1: Let’s Get Laced

Versatility is always a plus when creating outfits. This outfit is perfect for a casual kickback or a day out with your girls. I paired the coral dress with this unique lace design from Pixie Market (what’s Valentine’s without some lace?) with chunky suede platforms from Missguided to give both a girly and individualistic look. To top that off, I accessorized with a  beret from Urban Outfitters.

Outfit 2: Too Busy for Love

Are you one of those people who have to pull long hours just to get that paycheck at the end of the month? Well, for those of you dedicated money-makers, here’s a sophisticated outfit! A jumpsuit may seem plain and hard to accessorize, but the cutout in the back makes wearing this suit from Lily White Clothing feel more special. If you think you’re baring too much skin, just cover up with a simple blazer like the one above, which is from Choies. You can never go wrong with pointed toe pumps (or pumps in general) when going to a professional workplace. To finish the neutral look, I chose these cream pumps from Missguided.

Outfit 3: Evillaintine

Getting down with friends tonight and want to wear something a bit edgier? This bad girl outfit sports a UNIF plur crop tank and some high-waist crushed velvet shorts from Tunnel Vision. We all know beauty is pain, but that doesn’t mean we have to freeze in order to look daring. This biker sweater jacket from Pixiemarket and these badboy Jeffrey Campbell Kanes fit perfectly well with the whole theme.
