Where are you from? Pittsburg, CA. Bay Area!
 
What are some extracurricular activities or hobbies of yours? I am in the sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma. I love dancing, running, meeting new people, eating, going to the beach, and watching South Park.
 
What is your relationship status? I’m married to the books. In other words, I’m single!
 
What kind of music do you usually listen to? When I say I listen to everything, I mean everything! Lately, I have been in the mood for oldies, folk, and underground hip-hop. Some examples of my favorite songs are Fleet Foxes’s “Blue Ridge Mountains,” Billy Paul’s “Me and Mrs. Jones,” Nirvana’s “Come as You Are,” and Tame Impala’s “Mind Mischief.”
 
If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what would it be? If I could stay any age, it would be 30. 30 is the new 20! At that age I plan to be situated in my career and to be a professional, wiser, richer, and more confident human being and woman. I truly see my life getting better!
 
What is your favorite joke? My favorite joke is any one that has me crying. I love to laugh!

Jasmine is currently a senior at the University of California, San Diego. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Education Studies. Jasmine is the Co-Campus Correspondent for Her Campus UCSD, along with the amazing Taylor Zepeda. Jasmine spends most of her time volunteering at low socioeconomic status elementary schools across the San Diego county and grading papers for classes she is a Teacher's Assistant in. Novel wise, she is an avid fan of Edith Wharton and the Lord of the Rings series. She also loves comedic shows like New Girl and The Big Bang Theory, but also enjoys thrillers like Criminal Minds. One of Jasmine's favorite hobbies is trying foods of different cultures; she loves visiting cultural nights and community festivals. Above all, Jasmine worships Beyonce (a.k.a. Beysus, Queen Bee, Baeyonce, etc). Her future aspiration in life is to become the Secretary of Education and have the Hov and B over for dinners.
