The new quarter is off to a fast start: new classes, work schedules and friends as well as the possibility of winning 1.5-2 billion dollars in the lottery. The line at the Powerball machine at Albertsons was never ending, which makes sense seeing as tickets only cost $2. What college student wouldn’t want to win the lottery? What a turn of events it would be to be eating top ramen one day and be a billionaire the next! Unfortunately none of us at Her Campus UCSB were the big winners, but here’s what we would have done with all that cash:
1. Pay next month’s rent and next quarter’s tuition without crying!
2. Do your grocery shopping at Whole Foods
3. Buy your girls a round of drinks
4. Eat Freebirds nachos WITH guac
5. Stop Gio’s from closing
6. Replace your current piece of trash bicycle with a fancy roadbike
7. Fly to Cabo or Hawaii for the weekend
8. Buy a new laptop
9. Quit your crappy customer service or retail job
10. Backpack Europe or Asia – or both – all summer
11. Give your parents the gifts they truly deserve
12. Go to Coachella and OutsideLands
