1. Anonymous’ Hate Video for Kanye
We all know no one loves Kanye more than Kanye, but now the organization Anonymous found it necessary to make a 7 minute video to call Kanye out. This video now has 29 million views with the majority of people agreeing that there needed to be a video like this to set Kanye straight – or at least try to. Anyonymous used Kanye’s own lyrics against him, saying “No one man should have all that POWER!” *snap snap snap* Anonymous said what everyone was thinking; check it out for yourself.
2. The Jenner Clan is Expanding!
We’ve all seen Brandon & Leah on the Keeping up with the Kardashians as a cute, down-to-earth, hippie couple. Well now they’re having a baby! Congrats! We know that baby will be just as adorable as Brandon & Leah.
3. Kat Von D Lipstick Controversy
There has been great controversy over Kat Von D’s red lipstick named “Underage Red.” People have been focusing a lot on how politically incorrect the name is, and how “underage” suggests underage rape, drinking, degradation of women, and sexual behavior. Kat Von D is not a cookie-cutter type of woman, but she is no devil either. She posted on Facebook about how her intentions were misinterpreted and continued to explain that the meaning behind the name is about “feminine rebellion” and being bold and brave. She even squashed the haters’ criticism with “If you read the word “underage” and you automatically jump to a disgusting conclusion, I ask you to perhaps question your own mind and thoughts.” Kat Von D stated that this post was not an apology and will continue to keep the lipstick on the shelves regardless of all the backlash it has had. We expect nothing less than Kat Von D to stand behind her brand no matter what – she’s the true #GIRLBOSS.
4. Tyra Gets A Pixie?!
On America’s Next Top Model, there’s the famous “Tyra Makeovers” episode where she gives every contestant a complete makeover and, often times, chops off girls’ hair in order to highlight their natural features. Tyra, on the other hand, has never chopped off her own hair…until now! We’ve never seen the retired Victoria’ Secret model without her long hair. But she’s right, natural features do shine through when there isn’t so much hair distracting from them. We love the change!
5. Zayn Left the 1D Tour!
It’s true, Zayn Malik won’t be joining the rest of One Direction for the remainder of their “On the Road Again” tour due to unforseen current stressors. Is it perhaps because he’s not spending enough time with his fiance? Is he just not into the whole boy band scene? We don’t know, but those die-hard fans that have already purchased tickets won’t be happy.
