Spring is in full swing, and you know what that means: switching up your beauty routine to better adjust to the season. Here are a few beauty essentials to help your look welcome the warmer weather!

Eyes:

Shimmer and sunset toned eye shadows

These are perfect for both day- and nighttime looks. These colors work for any skin tone and add just a splash of color to your look.

Cobalt eyeliner

This look gained its popularity after being shown off at New York Fashion Week. For those who are bold enough, adding a touch of cobalt eyeliner to your daily look gives your eyes a nice pop of color.

Mascara

Mascara is a year round must-have. Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love having those long, luscious lashes any time of year?

Lips:

Bright lipsticks/lip stains

This spring bright lips are definitely in style, particularly red lips. However, if red isn’t your thing there are many vibrant pinks that do the job just as well.

Lip treatments

Let’s face it, winter killed our lips and the dry SoCal air just doesn’t help it at all. Lip moisturizers with aloe are definitely a must have to keep those lips soft and smooth.

Skin:

BB Creams

With the weather heating up the last thing you want is to have your skin weighed down by heavy skin products. BB creams cover all your beauty bases without all those heavy products.

Blush

A nice way to add just a subtle, rosy touch to your daily look.

Masks

Treat your skin (and yourself) by using a face mask to get your skin clear for the spring. Your skin will end up smooth, soft, and refreshed from just this simple step.

Other:

Lotion (Instant tan)

For those of us who want to start prepping our skin for warmer weather, but don’t have the time to do so.

Nail Polish

Another simple way to add spring colors into your daily look. For colors, think French manicures and champagne or pastel tones.

Hair color spray

Colored hair is very much in this season. If you’ve ever wanted to try coloring the ends of your hair but haven’t felt brave enough, try a temporary hair coloring spray. Some brands (such as the one above) have amazing coverage and work for all hair colors!
