Fuller House, a Netflix original series, premiered February 26, 2016 and was much anticipated by young adults who grew up watching the original series, Full House. All of the original cast, with the exception of Michelle Tanner (played by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen), made guest appearances and sent a surge of nostalgia through our hearts. Catchphrases such as “how rude!” and “have mercy” helped us relive our childhoods and thrust us right back into the 90s.

The premise of the show is a lot like that of its predecessor: two friends move into the famous Tanner house to aid in raising DJ’s children following the death of her husband (very tragic). The reboot follows DJ and Stephanie Tanner as well Kimmy Gibbler and their offspring in this sitcom adventure.

Overall, I enjoyed the pilot episode because of the nostalgia that accompanied it. Even though there were a plethora of new characters, the original Full House vibe was very prevalent and very welcomed. Although, I appreciated the first episode as a blast from the past, I don’t think that I will continue watching it, because like with most remakes it just isn’t the same. *tear*

What are your thoughts on the new reboot?
