Movies to Put You in the Holiday Spirit

Thanksgiving is over, finals are here, and the winter holidays are just around the corner! To get you all in the holiday spirit, here are a couple of feel-good films to enjoy with a bubbling cup of hot coco:

 

1. The Polar ExpressBased on the 1985 book of the same name, this movie centers on Billy, a boy who embarks on an adventure on The Polar Express to the North Poke, where he brings home he most amazing souvenir. We still believe too! Plus, the images in this film are breathtaking.

2. A Christmas CarolAh, humbug is what you should be saying if you don’t get the chance to watch this classic Christmas story about the evolution of Mr. Ebenezer Scrooge.

3. ElfLooking for a laugh? Will Farrell sleighs (haha, get it?) in this movie as an elf who discovers he is actually human.

4. Love ActuallyGet ready for the tears to flow, because this cult favorite rom-com of 10 couples’ stories eventually intertwined will have you bawling.

5. Home AloneOf course, we couldn’t talk about holiday movies without mentioning little Kevin McAllister. Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals!
