Her Campus UCSB now has the all-time cutest mascot – Maya the Kitten! Just like all of you collegiettes, she’s feisty, adorable, adventurous, and super smart. I sat down with Maya to ask the important questions so you all can get to know her like we do. 

Name: Maya the Kitten

Age: 2 months 

Major: Being Adorable with a minor in Catnip Science

Hometown: Isla Vista, CA

Relationship status: Single & spayed ;)

 

So Maya, what’s your favorite thing about living in IV?

I love staring out the window at all of the people walking through the streets. Also, the Mexican food is on point.

 

Do you have any tips on keeping your fur so shiny and fluffy?

I haven’t been to a salon in years! You should all try self-grooming, it’s the key to prrrfect hair everytime.

 

Do you have any hobbies?

The usual: scratching my owner’s hands, sipping on milk, and napping in patches of sunlight. 

 

Celebrity crush?

Puss in Boots. I can’t resist an exotic accent!

 

What’s your approach to dating in IV?

Just be yourself – especially when you’re as cute as I am ;)
