Fall into the Season with These Fun Date Ideas!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCSB chapter.

Fall is the time for cooler weather, sweater weather, and, if you have a SO, cuddle weather. UCSB students do not get to see the beauty of changing leaves, but we can enjoy the beauty of beach sunsets. Even though it’s sunny and clear a majority of the time here, it does not mean couples can’t enjoy all the great things that autumn has to offer! Here are some fun date ideas for anyone looking to spice it up this season:

GO TO THE PUMPKIN PATCH

Nothing says romance like finding the perfect pumpkin together, right?

PUMPKIN CARVING

Now that you’ve got your pumpkins it’s time to carve them! Perfect bonding time.

NETFLIX HORROR MOVIE NIGHT  You know all those scary movies you were too afraid to watch alone? Now you can watch them with your SO and make it a date night!

PICNIC

Picnic and a sunset? Yes, please. Straight out of a rom-com.

MORNING HIKES For all those couples who love the outdoors, hiking is the perfect chance for you to enjoy eachother’s company and the crisp fall morning air.

GO TO A CORN MAZE

HAVE A NIGHT IN

At the end of the day, having a nice and relaxing night in with your best friend is better than anything else.

Also, you can do any of these things even if you aren’t in a relationship! Single people can have just as much fun. Just grab a good group of friends or your best friend and enjoy the fall weather! (or just another sunny day for us Gauchos).
