Work, work, work and no play; sometimes are lives are so rushed that we don’t get time to swap shoes or change for the next event. Going on hikes and working out can be such a stress relief, but not when you have these construction boots on and logging around feeling fugly (as Regina George would say). So, let’s explore some fashionable shoe trends:

The shoes that are neutral in color are safe bets, they can be paired with other outfits perfectly, especially as demonstrated in the picture with ankle-length skinnies:

When looking for these hiking shoes that are interchangeable as everyday wear, it’s important to not only look at the style but also the soles to assure you have safety when embarking on your hiking journeys.

The thicker and more flexible the better, as in this image:

While these may not look as cute as the first pair they may be more supportive to some, and be aware that each person differs when it comes to comfort, so if you’re buying them as a gift, get a gift receipt.

Look for color, style and comfort. Whether it be The North Face or a high-end designer brand, companies everywhere nowadays are making great hiking boots that are cute and comfy.

My name is Lexxus Edison, my most used nickname is Lexi. I am currently a junior at UCSB and I major in English. I am interested in writing and reading which is pretty bland to some considering I spend countless hours doing just that in my major.
Hi, Collegiettes! I'm Carmen, a Communication major at University of California, Santa Barbara and one of two Campus Correspondents for UCSB. I would love to one day work in either fashion, food, tech, financial services or philanthropy. My dream is to find a job that somehow combines several of those elements. Until I get there, I'll be munching on copious amounts of Trader Joe's dried mango, jamming out to my man, Frank Sinatra, and focusing on creating intriguing content! If you like my writing, talk to me. ;)
