College is fun, challenging, and life-changing, but it is also pretty expensive! By the time we buy our textbooks, pay for rent, and go grocery shopping, it sometimes feels like we can’t afford to spend money on the other things we want and need. Here is a list of local student discounts you should take advantage of:
1. Aqua Nail Salon
10% off any nail service
$10 off any bikini or Brazilian wax.
Must show student idea at time of payment.
2. Theme Parks
A.S. Ticket Office on campus offers discounted tickets for Magic Mountain, Hurricane Harbor, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, SeaWorld, and Knotts Berry Farm!
3. Theater and Dance Performances
You can purchase tickets to Theater and Dance performances on campus, as well as locations off-campus, such as the beautiful Arlington Theatre. While general admission tickets can be up to $43 at the Arlington Theatre, students can sometimes get in for only $25!
4. Movie Tickets
Pick up movie tickets for only $8.75 at the A.S. Ticket Office, or tickets for $6.50 to see movies playing before 6pm.
5. Santa Barbara Zoo
$2 off adult admission Monday- Thursday, so it’s only $15 for a trip to the zoo!
It’s okay to be on a budget, you can still have fun! Just don’t forget to take your access card with you!
