The Best Things About Having a Long-Distance Bestie

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCSB chapter.

Having a long-distance best friend can be rough, but here are some good things that come out of having a best friend who lives miles and miles away from you:

 1. When you finally make time to talk to each other, your conversation could go on for hours.

2. You get to hear about all their crazy college adventures and they get to hear about yours.

3. You look forward to going home for breaks because you get to reunite with your BFF.

4. When you finally reunite, it’s like you were never apart.

5. You get to plan awesome trips to visit each other!

Who doesn’t love to travel???

6. You know that they are always a phone call, text, or Skype call away.

7. You can vent to each other knowing they’ll listen with an open mind.

8. You know you have someone who genuinely cares about you, even though they may be hundreds of miles away.

9. Distance makes the heart grow fonder!

The distance makes finally getting to see your bestie worth the wait.
