When we scroll on our instagram newsfeed we can’t help but cringe at the some of the things people post. Most of them may be our friends in real life, but the little things they do on social media bothers us so much. We roll our eyes, scroll past the posts rapidly, or just exit the app because we just cannot stand it anymore. 1. #Hashtagging #Every #Single #Word
It’s acceptable to hashtag things like #happytuesday or #besties, but it’s a whole different story when hashtagging words like #instacool or #instafollow. It’s definitely annoying when people hashtag the WHOLE CAPTION like #ucsbgamewassofun and #teamfinallyscoredagoalyay
2. Posting 5 selfies in a row within the same hour
Your makeup and outfit is on fleek, yes girl we can definitely see! But we don’t need 5 pictures showing us the exact same look.
3. That one person that is always posting recycled memes
Oh yes, I’ve never seen Kermit the Frog sipping a cup of tea or Willy Wonka asking to tell him more. Don’t get me wrong, some of these are super funny to see and sometimes they brighten our days, but we know which ones have been quite overexposed on Instagram.
4. Only posting pictures about weed or your smoking sesh
Okay we get it, you smoke weed! But if you excuse me, I would really like my newsfeed to go back to beach pics, rainbows, and sunshine.
5. Gym selfies… everyday
Props to you girl for being self-motivated and going to the gym everyday! But some of us just don’t want to be reminded about how we are being potatoes on our couches and doing the exact opposite.
6. #WCW & #MCM
Posting someone as your Women Crush Wednesday or Man Crush Monday is cute when you show each other off for the first time on social media… but every week is a little too much. Yes, we completely understand he is your man crush monday every week because he is your boyfriend, so we assume you find him attractive.
7. Learn to let go 2009 filters please!
The whole retro bluish-pinkish 2009 filter is a no go! It gives the picture such bad quality and you can’t even tell what the person looks like. It’s also really annoying when people over-filter their pictures, stick to just one filter!
Yet again, if these things REALLY annoy us, we all have the option of simply just unfollowing!
