With midterm coming to a close, I think it is safe to say that we all need a break away from the overcrowded library, overfilled day planners, and overstressed study groups. And what better way to relax than by binge watching (or re-watching) the witty escapades of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore from Gilmore Girls? Because in the end, where Gilmore Girls leads, we will follow.
*Where You Lead plays softly in the background* Â
So, why should you watch log onto Netflix right now and start binge-watching Gilmore Girls?

The premise of the show is all about GIRL POWER!
I mean the whole show is dedicated to how Lorelai Gilmore, who had Rory at sixteen (SIXTEEN!), raised her daughter and built a successful business and career for herself, all while having perfect hair and a steady number of jokes in her back pocket. Because Lorelai Gilmore doesn’t need a man to support her, she’s a strong, fabulous, and independent woman!

The level of sass (mostly provided by Emily Gilmore)
We should all take the time to bow down to the Queen of Sass, Emily Gilmore, because we all need to appreciate how on point all her clapbacks were, and who knows maybe we can even learn a thing or two on how to master the art of sass.

It’s a beautiful and emotional rollercoaster
From breakups to marriages to hospital scares to graduations, we were there with the Gilmores through everything, and that might have made us just a little too emotionally invested. But that’s okay because crying (whether they were happy or sad cries) at least once an episode is perfectly normal and understandable in the relm of Stars Hollow.Â

THE NETFLIX REVIVAL!!!
With the upcoming Netflix revival of Gilmore Girls (which I haven’t stopped fan-girling over), preparation is key, and the best way to prepare for the revivial is to rewatch all seven beautiful and wonderful seasons! You don’t want to be out of the loop and miss out on inside jokes once the 90-minute episodes are released.
So, get comfortable, snuggle up, and get ready to binge-watch the hell out of Gilmore Girls, and don’t be ashamed when Netflix asks if you are still watching.Â
