5 Go-To Music Festival Outfits

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCSB chapter.

So, you got your ticket for Coachella (or Outside Lands or Lollapalooza or Stagecoach), and you are super excited! You are mentally prepared – down to the perfect Spotify playlist, which took you hours to craft. You bought your camping gear and have totally accepted not showering for a whole weekend. And you have deleted almost everything from your phone to prepare for the countless photos and videos you will take during this AMAZING festival weekend.

You have almost everything ready except one thing: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GOING TO WEAR?!?

Well, have no fear. Here is some major style inspo for the many different aesthetics of music festivals. These styles range from bohemian fringe to gothic ripped jeans to the perfect high-waisted festival shorts. So, enjoy your weekend filled with music, sun, and hot musicians, all while looking fabulous and fly!

1. Bohemian Chic

2. Edgy Punk

3. 90s Revival

4. Festival Classics

5. Feelin’ Floral

Now that you’ve been inspired, get out there and find the perfect outfit for the equally perfect weekend. Have fun, be safe, watch your favorite artist with thousands of other people, and may your outfit be as fleeky as your eyebrows.

My name is Lisa Raub, and I am fourth year here at the University of California Santa Barbara. I am an English Major with a minor in Professional Writing. I studied abroad in Paris and London, traveling everywhere from Belgium to Spain to Italy, basically leaving Europe completely broke but extremely happy. I can often be found with a dog-eared book or an almost illegible journal beside me. When I am not reading or writing, I am usually watching A LOT of Netflix or soaking up the sun.
