Obviously the Best Mom Ever Award goes to your own mom, but admit it, the kids raised by these famous females have it pretty good too. In honor of Mother’s Day, we present to you the Mom Awards – or should we call them the “Mommys”?

Although it seems like Tina Fey is always cracking jokes, she’s serious when it comes to parenting. After a rocky divorce from Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes has remained strong and is raising Suri on her own – and doing a really great job of it. She’s protective of her daughter when it comes to the paparazzi and wants her to be able to lead a normal life.

Like her Microsoft founder husband, Melinda Gates is known for her extensive philanthropic efforts. Through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the couple works to enhance healthcare and reduce poverty globally. Although the Gates family is one of the wealthiest in the world, they put most their money toward their charitable foundation instead of keeping it all for themselves and their three children.

Jennifer Garner has played plenty of mom roles in movies, and she also plays the part in real life. A busy mother of three, she’s always smiling whenever she’s out and about with her kids. This one’s a no-brainer. And not only is Beyoncé extremely talented, but she’s also extremely family-oriented. I mean, seriously, just look at that hand holding out a lifetime achievement award to Beyonce at the VMAs, but she’s taking a moment to lovingly embrace her husband and child before receiving it.
