The students here at UCSB are pretty creative with their costumes, but we have to give credit where credit is due: our favorite celebs are probably the best at dressing up on Halloween. Here’s our completely partial ranking of the best celebrity costumes in recent history:

10. Channing Tatum as Winnie the Pooh

Don’t you just want to give him a big ol’ bear hug?!

9. Lucy Hale as the Twitter bird

#CostumeGoals!

8. Cara Delevigne and Kendall Jenner as Mario and Luigi

Just wondering: is the guy in yellow supposed to be a banana?

7. Beyonce and Blue Ivy as Janet Jackson and (mini) Michael Jackson

Anyone who thinks they can top this duo costume can just ‘beat it.’

6. Rihanna as Raphael the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle

We wouldn’t mess with these turtles.

5. Katy Perry as a Hot Cheeto

She looks flamin’ hot!

4. Nina Dobrev as Hermione Granger

Because Nina knows you can’t keep BFF’s apart!

3. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as The Hulk

Extra points for literally being “The Rock.”

2. Heidi Klum as a butterfly

Just imagine how long it took to make this costume! The America’s Got Talent judge is probably the unofficial queen of Halloween (have you seen her other costumes?!).

1. Colton Haynes as Princess Fiona

I mean, he wins for the transformation alone! But seriously, look at his other costumes, the man knows what good prosthetic makeup is.

Hi, Collegiettes! I'm Carmen, a Communication major at University of California, Santa Barbara and one of two Campus Correspondents for UCSB. I would love to one day work in either fashion, food, tech, financial services or philanthropy. My dream is to find a job that somehow combines several of those elements. Until I get there, I'll be munching on copious amounts of Trader Joe's dried mango, jamming out to my man, Frank Sinatra, and focusing on creating intriguing content! If you like my writing, talk to me. ;)
Kirby is a recent graduate from UCSB currently living in Los Angeles. As a proud Her Campus UCSB alum, she's happy to be back on the HC team covering one of her fave shows: "The Mindy Project." On any given day you can find her with her nose in a book (let's be real - it's a Kindle). In her free time, she likes petting dogs, binge-watching TV, and eating a lot of food. Find her on Instagram: @kirbynicoleb or @GirlBossEats.
