Lately Lindsay Lohan has been uploading various pictures of herself in Turkey aiding in the Syrian refugee crisis. She has uploaded various photos of herself in showing support for the Syrian refugees, along with the pictures she often captions the picture with the hashtag #theworldisbiggerthan5. “The world is bigger than five” is a favorite phrase of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey. The phrase is used to refer to the five major world powers—the US, UK, France, China and Russia. The Turkish president is critical of the five major power using their influence to set the UN agenda and other countries being left behind in the decision-making. Add to the fact that Lohan has been getting really close to the Turkish government, Lohan has also apparently picked up an accent on her visits to Turkey. Lindsay picked up the president’s lingo and accent? Crazy, right? This has had a lot people speculating and circulating the conspiracy theory that the Turkish government might actually be paying to Lindsay Lohan. I did my digging and apparently a lot Turkish citizens are concerned that this may actually be true. However, what I am not sure about is why the Turkish government would want pay The Parent Trap star money to visit Turkey. This will no doubt create an abundant amount of conspiracy theories and I personally cannot wait to read them all (ask anyone that knows me and they’ll tell you I love a good conspiracy theory story).
