We Covered The 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards Red Carpet and Talked to All Your Favorite Stars

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCLA chapter.

On the evening of June 16th, Her Campus at UCLA had the absolute pleasure of attending the red carpet for the MTV Movie & TV Awards! Held at the beautiful location of the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, the weather was wonderful and the red carpet was as red as can be. We were so excited to see some of our favorite Hollywood stars strut down the carpet and even got the opportunity to speak with a few of them!

Check out our video of our experience and interviews with several celebs like Storm Reid (A Wrinkle In Time) and Vanessa Morgan (Riverdale)!

Amandla Stenberg, The Darkest Minds and The Hunger Games star, looked stunning in red and shared smiles with a friend.

Zazie Beets, known for her roles as Domino in Deadpool 2 and Vanessa “Van” Keefer on Atlanta, looked fierce in her Chloé outfit with a plunging neckline.

Heartthrobs, Ross Butler and Brandon Flynn, from 13 Reasons Why walked side-by-side, exchanging laughs. Fans have been delighted by the recent news of the show being renewed for a third season!

Liza Koshy looked like a princess in her Prabal Gurung gown and hair up in a ballerina bun.

Alisha Boe shined in her gorgeous dress from Alexandra O’Neill

Riverdale stars, Lili Reinhart and Vanessa Morgan, reunited on the carpet and we got to witness this special moment. We also took some selfies with these two beauties!!

Mandy Moore made an appearance and to say we fan-girled would be an understatement.

Stranger Things and Power Rangers star, Dacre Montgomery, was joined by his girlfriend, Liv Pollock.

Best Kiss nominee from Love, Simon, Keiynan Lonsdale wore the most golden outfit of the night.

Winston Duke came in an iconic Nike suit and we loved it. #wakandaforever

Actor and comedian, Seth Rogen, held hands with his wife and we captured the sweet moment.

Snagged a selfie with Youtuber and vlogger David Dobrick!

Sorry To Bother You co-stars, Tessa Thompson and Lakeith Stanfield, twinned in bold red outfits.

Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard, and Noah Schnapp from Stranger Things all passed by. Fortunately, there were no Demogorgon in sight ~

Michael B. Jordan aka Erik Killmonger from Black Panther had his squad by his side.

Thanks so much for having us!! Make sure to tune in and catch the show on MTV this Monday 9/8c! And follow their Instagram ~
