On Thursday, January 28 one of two things the students were waiting on before the UCLA vs Stanford game: the arrival of the UCLA Men’s Basketball team and Twilight star, actor Taylor Lautner. The notification of his appearance was notified via email to students who purchased the Den Pass earlier in the school year, which filled the students with excitement. Those who managed to get a close up view were the UCLA cheeleaders as well as the UCLA Women’s Soccer team, who were recognized during the game for winning the 2013 NCAA Championship.
Fortunately for Taylor, he was not swarmed by fans, nor by crazy paparazzi. He was dressed casually in jeans and a t-shirt and enjoying the game like any other student (courtside of course). He left before the game was over but not before fans could get a picture with him. Everyone was respectable of his time at UCLA and no one bothered him for a picture during the game play. Not only did Taylor leave students going crazy for him, everyone left Pauley Pavilion satisfied of the win UCLA took against Stanford 91-74.
