Las Vegas is home to some of our favorite celebrity chefs, including Chef Giada De Laurentiis from the Food Network. As a fan of the Italian chef, I was extremely excited to visit her beautiful restaurant, but I was also scared that it would not meet my expectations.
After enjoying mimosas and brunch at the trendy Giada’s at The Cromwell, I can tell you that her food exceeded my expectations. The food looks amazing on her show, but it’s even better in real life. It was honestly one of the best meals of my life and I highly recommend it for any college girls who want to have a fun brunch in Las Vegas.
I started my meal with margarita pizza with oven roasted campari tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil and a lemony Caesar salad topped with fried capers & citrus Caesar vinaigrette. While pizza and a Caesar salad might seem like a simple meal, Giada takes it to another level.
We also got the Salmon Cake Benedict which is “salmon cakes, wilted spinach, piquillo peppers, poached eggs with prosecco hollandaise & toast.” The Salmon was amazing and just melted in my mouth. I also loved the cheesy Gnocchi with the tomato sauce.
Another exciting dish I tried was the Sunrise Polenta Waffle. I did not think sunny side up eggs would pair well with waffles, but it sure did. This dish was so tasty and it had amazing presentation as well.
I ended my brunch with Giada’s famous lemon cookies with raspberry flavored ice cream, which was amazing. Giada’s signature flavor throughout the entire menu is a lemony tangy flavor, which may seem very sour but is actually perfect.
Overall, I highly recommend checking out Giada’s in Las Vegas. If you aren’t visiting Vegas anytime soon, then check out Chef Giada’s social media and recipes online. She is truly so talented.
