On January 16th, Her Campus at UCLA had the pleasure of attending the COVERGIRL “Clean Fresh” Launch Party at Rolling Greens nursery in Downtown Los Angeles. The party celebrated the launch of the new collection with Lili Reinhart, the newest face of COVERGIRL. The 23-year-old actress is most recognized for her role as Betty Cooper in the hit television series Riverdale. Other celebrities and influencers were in attendance, including Sydney Sweeney from Euphoria and Amanda Stanton from The Bachelor franchise.
Clean Fresh is COVERGIRL’s new vegan collection, which is created without formaldehyde, phthalates, parabens, sulfates and talc. It is instead infused with good-for-you ingredients like Coconut Milk and Aloe extracts. The line, which contains 4 products (Clean Fresh Skin Milk, Clean Fresh Cooling Glow Stick, Clean Fresh Cream Blush and Clean Fresh Lip Oil), provides sheer coverage for a clean and natural look. Also, everything in the collection is super affordable at around $10!
The Instagram-worthy event was in a beautiful nursery with fresh and ready-to-drink coconuts branded with the COVERGIRL logo, delicious snacks including pizza, vegetables, rice and fresh pressed juices. There was even a station to make your own aloe vera plant with pots, sand, glitter and moss!
Lili, who is perfect for this collection with her fresh and natural look, spoke to the crowd about how excited she is to be the newest face of COVERGIRL. She reminisced her childhood and how she always used to recite the iconic “easy, breezy, beautiful” line while looking at her reflection in the mirror. She also spoke about overcoming her social anxiety for this moment, and was very excited to be celebrating clean and natural beauty.
