Pink, glitter, and wings adorned Los Angeles on Sunday, October 18 for the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. After its long-awaited comeback in 2024 following a six-year hiatus, everyone seems to be on their toes waiting for what the show might bring next.

I was able to watch the show all the way through with my friends, and there were so many amazing highlights. From incredible performances to the beautiful pieces that graced the runway, it was obvious that Victoria’s Secret had listened to what fans had to say since 2024. Here are some of the best moments from the show in case you missed it!

The show opened with Miss Bella Hadid, wearing a gorgeous floral green set with matching floral wings, marking her fourth appearance at the Victoria’s Secret runway. She was followed by several more beautiful floral lingerie sets, headpieces and wings worn by top models like Adriana Lima and Anok Yai. I was in awe of the opening theme and the flowers that adorned the runway — a perfect goodbye to summer.

The first performer of the night was country music singer Megan Moroney, who opened with her song, “6 Months Later.” She wore a pink corset and miniskirt paired with fluffy pink wings and, of course, her pink glittery guitar to match. Although she did have a few run-ins with some models on the runway, Megan Moroney slayed the night away with the perfect pink country-girl vibe!

I was excited to see all the models conquer the runway, but there was someone I was especially excited to see (and I’m sure many other people were, too):Barbara Palvin, because she is Mother (literally)! Barbara walked just six weeks after giving birth — talk about women’s power! This was her sixth time walking in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and she just keeps shining brighter! She wore a sheer pink minidress layered on a matching pink set — def going-out outfit inspo.

The second performance of the night was led by our lady in red, Tate McRae, who opened with her brand-new single, “Housewife.” I was hearing it for the first time, and it was definitely giving runway, top-model vibes (go listen to it right now)! What caught me completely off guard was her strut at the end of her set! She put on her sheer red wings and walked the runway to her hit song, “Sports car.” Wow — put that girl on a runway permanently, thank you!

I also want to take a moment to talk about the hair this year! There has been so much criticism over the past few years when models wore different hairstyles, ranging from slickbacks to ponytails, instead of the iconic Victoria’s Secret blowouts we used to see. Hundreds of comments flooded the Victoria’s Secret Instagram page saying something along the lines of, “Where are the blowouts?” They finally listened! Backstage, every model had hair rollers in, making everyone anticipate the iconic blowouts — and they delivered. The bouncy blowouts we all missed are back!

KATSEYE lit up the stage for PINK, opening with their song, “Pinky Up,” paired with their classic choreography, of course. Their outfits were giving pink punk-rock style with the short skirts, black accents, and chain belts. Something new on the runway this year was the phone charms that some models had. I know many people thought it was a reference to “influencer culture,” and many disagree with this choice, but PINK is targeting a younger audience, so I thought it was a cute addition. Along with KATSEYE, we had Nathalia Bryant making her debut on the runway wearing some sparkly jeans, a chain with the classic PINK dogs, and a black PINK bra — stunning debut!

Another very anticipated event on the runway was the reveal of the chosen Angel from the YouTube reality show, Angels Among Us, where thousands of women were given the opportunity to apply to be the next Victoria’s Secret Angel. The chosen angel was 21-year-old Solange Omon from Cameroon, who beat 100,000 applicants. She made her debut in a chic silk-nude lingerie set with silky golden wings — so deserved. Along with her, the other finalists also got the opportunity to walk the runway. It was so sweet to see these women walking together after competing against one another — a full-circle moment!

The last performance of the night was our girl, Megan Thee Stallion, entering with an amazing power strut in her black lacy set with gorgeous silver angel wings. She opened up with her song “Her” and ended her set with the iconic song we all know, “Body,” which made all of us get out of our seats and dance. I only wish her set had been longer than two songs, though!

Lastly, the most controversial moment in the show: Kylie Jenner wearing the Fantasy Bra. To say I was shocked to even see Kylie Jenner making a debut with Victoria’s Secret is an understatement. I think she was the person we least expected to wear the Fantasy Bra, since it traditionally goes to one of the top models. However, I really did love her look — the silk skirt, the white angel wings, the blowout, etc. The Fantasy Bra was also so beautiful, surrounded by 4,410 natural diamonds and reportedly valued at $50 million — the most expensive Fantasy Bra ever made!

Loving these looks on the runway? You can take some of the show’s styles straight from the stage to your closet! Various pieces from the runway are available for purchase on the Victoria’s Secret website under the “Fashion Show” tab. You can find a range of looks, including a more affordable version of the Fantasy Bra!
