India Carney is a Bruin just like you and I except that she is recognized nationally as a singing sensation from the hit show “The Voice.” Carney, who hails all the way from Brooklyn, New York studies under UCLA’s Division of Voice and Opera making her a star who is not only following her dream but also on track to getting her degree. Having performed in prestigious locations such as Carnegie Hall and Avery Fishery Hall, our very own Bruin will be hosting and performing at the Beat ‘SC Bonfire and Rally. Talk about getting geared up to hear a performance you know will be amazing.
Carney’s work has led to her to achieve success in the music industry and uses social media to keep her fans updated about her performances and events. She definitely upholds the True Bruin Value and clearly stays connected back home on the east coast. Carney is unlike any other artist and her audiences can see that she is being herself when she is singing. On top of her personal and academic success, she has even volunteered with UCLA in their community service events. Carney has proved that anything she can do, we can do as well to not only follow but also chieve our dreams.
