Searching for that ultimate cool-girl Halloween inspo? Look no further than Jade Fiona or @jadeybird on TikTok and Instagram. This spooky season, Fiona is serving up classic Halloween costumes with her own personal twist. The result is a sexy, fun-filled selection that speaks to Gen-Z’s love of Y2K, alternative clothing.
Fiona is a content creator and model known for creating lifestyle and midsized fashion content on TikTok and Instagram. Her style is a melting pot of Y2K, coquette, vintage and so much more, having amassed more than 360k followers across platforms. Since I found her account, Fiona has become my go-to for style inspo especially when I’m looking for that effortlessly cool, LA look.
So, when Halloween drew closer, I knew just where to look for inspiration.
A few of my favorites from Fiona’s “iconic Halloween costumes” collection on TikTok are Cupid, Cookie Monster and Siren, all of which have been done before but not with the signature @jadeybird touch.
In the Cupid Costume, Fiona sports a matching lace tube top and mini skirt set. Paired with several red accessories such as hair bows, wings, shoes and a bow and arrow, Fiona perfectly toes the line between sweet and sexy. However, my favorite detail is the use of kiss marks as blush. Altogether, the look ties together many coquette and Y2K elements in a way that can only be described as iconic.
Fiona’s Cookie Monster is a bit more risqué with a blue, cookie-themed corset paired with fuzzy, blue drawstring bottoms. This outfit is really made by the accessories matching the striped leg and arm warmers and big star-shaped earmuffs. Personally, I need to get my hands on those earmuffs immediately. But the whole outfit is so sexy and fun, offering an exciting new way to spice up a classic costume.
Finally, the Siren Costume is elegantly beachy. Fiona wears a mesh, crocheted skirt and a sparkly silver bra. The costume feels ethereal just like a siren would be. Like with the other options, the jewelry and accessories — beach-themed this time — really elevate this costume.
Overall, it’s another great play on a classic concept.
